What we collect

Your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in with Google.
Payment and purchase records supplied by Stripe. Hair Mirror does not receive full card details.
Basic website usage data through DataFast, including pages visited, referrers, device information, and approximate location.
Technical logs needed to keep the service secure and diagnose failures.

Selfies and generated images

When you request a hairstyle preview, your selfie and selected hairstyle instruction are sent to Google's Gemini API to create the result. Hair Mirror processes the selfie only for that request and does not save the uploaded selfie. The generated result is saved in private file storage so your preview history and favourites remain available after you refresh or sign in again. Other users cannot access your stored previews through Hair Mirror.

Google processes this information as our AI service provider under its own API terms and privacy commitments. Do not upload an image unless you have permission to use it.

Previews are private by default. If you create a salon link, anyone with that unguessable link can view the selected generated image without signing in. You can revoke the link from your dashboard; cached copies may remain available for up to one minute after revocation.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate your account, process purchases, maintain your credit balance, generate hairstyle previews, prevent abuse, understand site usage, and improve reliability.

Service providers

Hair Mirror relies on Google for sign-in and AI image generation, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare R2 for private generated-image storage, DataFast for analytics, and PlanetScale for account, preview metadata, and credit records. Each provider processes only the information needed to perform its service.

Retention and choices

Generated previews remain available until you delete them from your history or request account deletion. Deleting a preview also disables its salon link. Account, purchase, credit, and security records are retained while needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
